The program will include keynote and plenary talks, short oral presentations and poster sessions, workshops and strategic discussions. We shall of course catch up on scientific breakthroughs and follow up the established areas of research: developmental biology, functional genomics, biomedicine with disease models, toxicology and drug development etc. In addition, the 9thEZM will draw attention to zebrafish and medaka as models for aquaculture related research.

The venue for the 9thEZM will be in the centre of Oslo, close to the waterfront and the Opera house. This time of year has long light evenings, and usually mild summer weather.
